13. Sean Barry will add amendment, regarding local option for Farm excise,
to the current farm bill that is being presented in Boston - Assistant
assessor sent email to him with this request last week. Still need to
see about proper wording of petition from Legal Counsel, if this option
fail
14. Discussed these Map issues:
- where is lot 10 located on Map 20? 0.19
ac - do not know location of this lot
- where does Bassett Road intersect
Bardwells Ferry Road? To be shown on map
- Map 44 lots 2 & 3 - errors
on map to be corrected
- Map 25 lot 1 - owned by Peter Wood not Mayhew
Steel to be corrected
- Map 18 lots 22 & 23 - boundary line? Averill/Healy
- Dr. Averill to have a new
Survey done this week.
14. Mike Quinlivan was here on March 26 - working on new Chapter
61 & 61A
land values for woodland - Productive woodland is now $173/acre (was
$80 or 5%)
– set up land class for Forestry 601 - no longer 5%
– owners with productive woodland will have increased valuations
for this class of land
15. Discussed when we will start going out to look at property - Assistant
