MEETING MINUTES—January 26, 2009

1. Called meeting to order @ 6:00PM, James Richardson & Marvin Peck present

2. Reviewed mail:

• FRCOG Update meeting for aerial photos of town by Pictometry, Inc., February 24 in Deerfield - Bruce K. will go there at 2:30PM, after his other job in South Deerfield.
• December Building permits
• Email form DOR DLS Law - farm excise question only needs majority vote at town meeting to be adopted by the town
• 3ABC Form YMCA of Greenfield
• Public forum on Reconstruction of Main Street - January 29 at 6:00PM
• Excise tax bills - second bills coming sooner due to RMV omitting some bills on
  First commitment

3. Signed Previous meeting minutes December 8th & January 12th

4. Signed Sewer Lien commitment FY2009 $16,657.77

5. Discussed changing map company -Franco Rossi was here from Cartographic Associates in Littleton, New Hampshire - he talked with assistant and verbally quoted a cost of $600 to scan our maps, make changes, provide updated new maps (large & small), provide disk of maps so we could put them on the town website He mentioned that our maps are not digital at present - in order to produce digital maps the necessary groundwork would be required and the expense would be significant. Bruce to check on cost without scanning for next year - how much would we save? Will get other quotes from Sewall and Holmberg

6. Reviewed Exemption Applications & signed; signed exemption certificates

7. Begin Review of Abatement Applications after all have been filed - probably at next meeting

8. Next Meetings are: February 9th & 23rd
