MEETING MINUTES—March 23, 2009

1. The assessors visited these properties before their meeting regarding abatements filed by the property owners:
28 S. Maple St. - 5:00PM
99 Mechanic St. - 5:15PM

2. Called meeting to order @ 5:23PM James Richardson, Joseph Mattei, & Marvin Peck present

3. Reviewed mail:

• Bid Notification for Main Street Reconstruction Project
• IAAO Workshop 151 April 29 & 30
• Letter from Building Inspector regarding use of 100 Brook Road Property

4. Signed Previous meeting minutes

5. Signed Warrants to Collector for Omitted Parcel Bills for The Quinnehtuk Co.

6. Signed Motor Vehicle Excise abatement certificates & applications

7. Signed Veteran's Exemption Certificates & applications

8. Signed Property Tax Abatement Certificates on two properties

9. Signed Property Tax Abatement Denial Notice

10. Ashfield Stone LLC Lot 6 on Map 25 - needs to be changed to Industrial property for FY2010 - currently a residential lot

11. The Assistant needs to use some vacation time before June 30th:
May 11, 26, & 27 June 22, 23, & 24
Board will decide if we need to meet on different Mondays on May 11 & June 22 since these are meeting dates - the Board will discuss this at the April 27th meeting ; in addition to
deciding when and how to inform residents of the referendum question about eliminating the Farm Excise tax. They will begin looking at properties with open building permits on April 13
