Issues & Procedures
- DOR Letter approving maximum payments of $62,000 for Ice Storm in
December 2008
- Special Town Meeting Certification of vote on March 19,
2009 to reduce department budgets by a total of $31,400 for FY2009,
which is the amount that was cut from state aid

11. Assistant attended the
Certification Preparation Workshop at GCC
Revaluation year is FY2011
- travel has been cut for DOR advisors - Chris Keefe will only come out
to town once for review - must have all records in order and any issues
resolved before then or certification will be late
- some certification cycles might be adjusted to even out case load
- new values for wireless companies to be updated and placed in CAMA
system
- we will need map showing neighborhoods for revaluation
- must submit LA3 Sales reports on a yearly basis now
- our reval company will need to visit most businesses for personal property
valuations
12. Assistant will be taking vacation May 11(meeting), 26, & 27
June 22(meeting), 23, & 24
Suggested that we might meet on a Tuesday - will discuss at next meeting
on April 24th
13. Town Meeting May 5 - Election June 8 Jim Richardson
would like to have assistant calculate the amount of taxes we would have
collected if Farm Excise Tax was being collected, so Jim can present
at Town Meeting - might not be able to come up with precise figures since
we don't have a current listing of farm machinery and animals in town
