***************
Chairman Joe Palmeri called the meeting to order at 7:00pm.
The minutes of the 8/3/06 meeting and 8/24/06 hearing were read and
accepted.
Mail reviewed – no new permit/variance requests.
Board discussed the latest revision of the Zoning Bylaws proposed by
the Ad Hoc Zoning Committee. Concerns were discussed about definitions,
parking, lighting, the Open Space section, and confusion with some items
moved from section to section and resultant numbering.
Taylor reported that the decision concerning the Koreman Special Permit
was filed with the Town Clerk on August 31. There followed
a brief discussion about the Special Permitting process, findings, and
paperwork. The Board also reviewed definitions and references
to a “dwelling”, and discussed Joseph Mattei’s concerns
about the wording of the current bylaw in that regard.
Next meeting planned for October 5, 2006.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:55pm.
Respectfully submitted,
John E Taylor
