A duly posted meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals was held at the
Shelburne Town Hall, 51 Bridge St, Shelburne.
Present: Joseph Palmeri, John Taylor, William Sweeney, Lowell Laporte,
Theodore Merrill
Absent: None

Chairman Joe Palmeri called the meeting to order at 7:00pm.
The Chair reported on a conversation he had with (Shelburne Center)
Fire Chief Angus Dun and his concerns about driveways in Town and access
for fire apparatus, and street numbering in the event of shared/common
driveways. He suggested the ZBA include such language in any Bylaw
changes. This will be referred to the Ad Hoc Zoning Committee. There
was further discussion on common driveways and zoning enforcement.
The Chair reported that the board received a Request for Variance from
Terry Kimball of Old Albany Road on 09/11/2006. A site visit was
held on 10/03/2006 as per the Rules and Regulations, and a hearing scheduled
for tonight.
At 7:30PM the business meeting was recessed for the purpose of the Hearing
for Terry Kimball (refer to separate Hearing Minutes).
The Board reconvened at 8:20PM, and discussed the status of the Zoning
Bylaws proposed by the Ad Hoc Zoning Committee/Planning Board and upcoming
hearings. Additional discussion on the relationships with
other boards (i.e. conservation, planning, selectmen etc) and coordinating
permits, permissions, and paperwork.
The minutes of the 9/7/06 meeting were read and accepted.
Next meeting planned for November 2, 2006.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:35pm.
