Zoning Board of Appeals — Meeting Minutes — December 6, 2006—7:00 p.m. — Shelburne Town Hall

A duly posted meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals was held at the Shelburne Town Hall, 51 Bridge St, Shelburne.

Present: Joseph Palmeri, John Taylor, Lowell Laporte, Theodore Merrill

Absent:  William Sweeney

Chairman Joe Palmeri called the meeting to order at 7:10pm.

Mail reviewed, with no applications pending.

Minutes for the 10/5/06 and 11/2/06 meetings were read and accepted.   Minutes for the 10/5/06 and 10/17/06 Kimball Variance Hearing were read, reviewed, and accepted with some grammatical corrections noted.

Taylor noted that the Board has sent a letter to Kimball confirming that his Application for Variance has been withdrawn without prejudice at his request.

Board discussed the use of the new application forms with respect to the material submitted for the Kimball hearing.  The consensus was the current application forms were an improvement, and Ted Merrill was recognized for his work.   The Board discussed the permit and variance process as spelled out in the current and proposed bylaws, and also compared to the Board’s rules and regulations.

A motion was made and it was so voted to adjourn at 8:30pm.
