GCG Associates has prepared a design to continue improvements on Bridge Street, from Baker Avenue to the Mechanic Street intersection. Work envisioned includes new sidewalks, replacement of some of the trees, curbs, street pavement as well as a new water main, services and sewer repair.

The Town plans to seek Community Development Block Grant application in early September to fund repairs. If awarded, construction would begin after Labor Day 2022 (water and sewer improvements only), with sidewalks and road work in Spring 2023.

As a project area resident, business or property owner you are encouraged to attend one of the following meetings to provide input into the final design work.
To make this grant application successful it is critical that businesses and property owners become involved in reviewing the plans for repair.
