Open Space Committee Seeks Members

There are openings for 1, 2 or 3 year appointments to the Open Space Committee

Do you enjoy the outdoors and public service too? Or do you know another Shelburne resident who values open space? As someone interested in the future of Shelburne, we need your help. The Shelburne Open Space Committee is seeking new members and is looking for people like you. We have openings for 1, 2 or 3 year appointments.

Last year we completed the walking tour map of village trees and historical buildings. Our major upcoming project this year is to develop a hiking trail extending the Mahican-Mohawk trail along the Deerfield River, and we could use your knowledge and energy!

We meet the fourth Monday of each month, 7 pm in Shelburne Town Hall. Come visit our next meeting on November 26, refer someone you know who might be interested, or check us out at https://www.townofshelburne.com/g/47/Open-Space-Committee

For more information, e-mail Openspace@TOWNOFSHELBURNEMA.GOV or contact David Schochet at 413-625-6966.
