The Town of Shelburne will hold a PUBLIC HEARING concerning its FY21 Community Development Block Grant Application on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 6:00 PM.

Projects to be submitted for the 2021 CDBG application are upgrades to a section of Bridge Street, from Baker Avenue through the Mechanic Street intersection, and the provision of Food Pantry Services for income eligible Shelburne residents. The Town will contract with a private consultant to administer this grant. Shelburne’s grant request can be for up to $800,000 and will also include delivery and general administration expenses.

GCG Associates, the Town’s Engineer for the Bridge Street Improvements project, will present plans for repair.

Any persons or organizations will be given the opportunity to be heard. Previous years’ CDBG projects may be discussed. Everyone wishing to speak will be given the opportunity. Written comments may be submitted to Terry Narkewicz, Town Administrator, townadmin@TOWNOFSHELBURNEMA.GOV, 51 Bridge Street, Shelburne Falls, MA 01370. The Town will make reasonable accommodation with seven days prior written notice to the Selectboard’s office.
